Steam Air

Steam Air models are of the basic type. Steam Injection line are placed in bottom and sides with a number of nozzles at periodic intervals (see photo).

Produces are directly cooled through distribution lines from top and sides.

Intense spraying causes mist like atmosphere for efficient and fast cooling.

The retort can be operated manually and his hence cost effective.

Temperature gradient within 0.5 deg C. Through mixing of steam and air ensures no cold spots.

Water Spray

Water spray model defers from steam Air model. Water is sprayed in a mist form by a circulation system.

Steam is also directly injected. Sprayed water absorbs steam temperature and passes on to the product.

Indirect cooling with using PHE is possible to safe gaud containers form thermal shock. Still cooling within 10mins can be achieved.

This model is most suitable for PP and Glass containers. Temperature gradient within 0.5deg C. Through mixing of steam and air ensures no cold spots.

Water Immersion

Water Immersion model draws water at 121 deg C from an over head storage tank.

Circulation system ensures uniformity of temperature.

Energy saving as hot water is transferred back to over head tank. Sterilisation is much faster.

Indirect cooling is possible. Ideally suited for quicker heat penetration into the products. Temperature gradient within 0.5 deg C.  No cold spot.
